DU to close for four days during election

Dhaka University will suspend all academic and administrative activities from 11 to 14 February in connection with the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election and referendum.

Proctor Saifuddin Ahmed confirmed the decision on Thursday, saying the university will remain closed on February 11 and 12 following the government’s executive order declaring those days as public holidays for the election.

As 13 and 14 February fall on Friday and Saturday, the regular weekly holidays, the university will remain shut for a total of four consecutive days.

All classes and offices at the university will remain closed during this period.
