The Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Niaz Ahmed Khan, paid a courtesy call on the Education Minister, ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon, at the Secretariat on Thursday.
During the meeting, the vice-chancellor extended his congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed education minister and invited him to visit the university.
Niaz Ahmed presented the minister with a booklet outlining the university’s academic and research activities, as well as various recent initiatives undertaken for the welfare of students.
The vice-chancellor further noted that he would soon provide a detailed briefing to the education minister regarding the university’s education and research activities, campus security, stability, and overall matters through a comprehensive meeting.
In response, Milon assured all possible support for the overall development of education and research at Dhaka University.
