Earlier, voting was held on Tuesday from 9am to 3pm at the university’s 39 centres. After voting ended, the ballot boxes were taken to the university’s central auditorium. Around 6:30pm that day, vote counting for the central union began there using six OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) machines.
However, discrepancies in the counting data were detected, forcing the counting process to be suspended for an extended period. After being halted for about five and a half hours, counting resumed late at night. Subsequently, results from various centres were announced one by one.
