US President Donald Trump has invited Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to join a proposed “Board of Peace” tasked with overseeing post-war Gaza, Turkey said on Saturday.
The invitation was conveyed in a letter sent by Trump on Friday, inviting Erdogan to serve as a founding member of the board, Turkish presidential communications director Burhanettin Duran said in a social media post, reports BSS/AFP.
