
The General Education Department of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), in collaboration with FeiHang Tech, an AI creation platform based in Singapore and Hong Kong, successfully organised an AI-powered web app creation workshop titled “Creativity Meets AI”.
The event held on Friday, saw enthusiastic participation from over 200 undergraduate students representing ULAB’s schools of Humanities, Social Sciences, Business, and Engineering.
The workshop was designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to artificial intelligence, creativity, and future-oriented technological skills.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Professor Jude William R Genilo, the acting vice chancellor of ULAB.
The workshop featured engaging discussions on the evolving role of AI, its impact on productivity, and its various applications in solving real-world problems.
A key highlight of the event was the AI-powered web app creation session, during which students designed and developed innovative applications based on themes such as social impact, productivity, and creative problem-solving.
Participants also engaged in a live brainstorming and Q&A session with researchers from FeiHang Tech, making the event highly interactive.
This workshop marks an important step in strengthening ULAB’s commitment to fostering digital literacy, innovation, and global collaboration among its students. The event concluded with closing remarks from General Education Department Head, Professor Shahnaj Husne Jahan.
