
The cluster admission test for ‘C’ unit under the 2025–26 academic session began at Islamic University on Friday.
The one-hour examination started at 11am and will continue until 12pm at the Faculty of Business Administration building on the university campus.
A total of 1,456 candidates has been allocated seats at the Islamic University centre under the business studies-based ‘C’ unit. Admission seekers started arriving at the centre from the morning, many accompanied by their guardians.
The university administration has strengthened a four-tier security system to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
Members of Ansar, Rapid Action Battalion and police have been deployed across the campus.
In addition, BNCC and Rover Scout members are performing duties at key points under the supervision of the proctorial body.

A mobile court remains active to prevent any untoward incidents and to ensure the examination remains free from malpractice and proxy candidates.
University Proctor Shahinuzzaman said “Candidates are entering the examination centre without difficulty and no problems have been reported so far.”
He added that the administration has taken all necessary security measures and expressed hope that the test will be held in a peaceful and orderly environment.
A total of 284,480 students applied for the cluster admission tests this year. Of them, 166,240 applied for ‘A’ unit, 93,158 for ‘B’ unit, and 25,282 for ‘C’ unit.
