A new chapter has begun for the educated unemployed youth of Bangladesh. To bring young people into modern employment, the government has officially launched the 6th batch of a 3-month Freelancing Training Project across all 64 districts.
On Wednesday morning (April 1), the State Minister for Youth and Sports, Md. Aminul Haque, inaugurated the program virtually. He mentioned that the government is giving top priority to freelancing to create new jobs for the youth, fulfilling the promises made to the new generation.
Masud Alam, Managing Director of E-Learning and Earning Ltd, shared some impressive facts:
Project Period: 2024 to 2027. Total Budget: 373.77 Crore BDT. Goal: To train 36,000 skilled individuals. , Current Achievement: Already, 14,400 trainees have completed the course and earned nearly 22.70 Crore BDT in foreign currency.
The Narayanganj branch celebrated the opening with great energy. Hasina Parveen, Deputy Director of the Department of Youth Development in Narayanganj, stated:
“Narayanganj is an industrial city. In this digital age, our youth must be skilled in technology to compete in the global market.”
Tasnimur Rahman Shakil, the Dhaka Division Coordinator, assured trainees that they would receive technical support and expert mentoring to become successful freelancers.

Strict Selection: Out of thousands of applicants, only the top 75 were selected through exams.

Intensity: Trainees (aged 18–35) will study for 8 hours daily, totaling 600 hours over 3 months.
