Microsoft founder Bill Gates, who is recently in India to attend the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, spent time with a local tea seller from Nagpur who is popularly known as Dolly Chaiwala on Instagram.
While Gates enjoyed the tea made by the social media enthusiast, he also shared the video with him and ever since the video was posted, it has garnered several million views and over 20 lakh likes. Gates captioned the video as, “In India, you can find innovation everywhere you turn—even in the preparation of a simple cup of tea!”

The video, recently shared on social media, captures Bill Gates savouring a cup of chai from a popular tea stall in India.
In the footage, Mr. Gates engages in conversation with Dolly, the chaiwala, who is a well-known figure on social media for his tea-making skills. It depicts Dolly meticulously preparing a steaming cup of tea, which Bill Gates drinks for the first time. The video begins with Mr. Gates ordering a tea and saying, “One Chai, Please”. It then shows the chaiwala preparing tea in his distinctive style using a special cart. The video concludes with Mr. Gates taking a sip of the tea and posing with Dolly.
