The admission test for first-year undergraduate programmes under Dhaka University Science Unit will be held Saturday, from 3:30pm to 5pm.
A total of 114,114 students will sit for the examination against 1,891 available seats for the 2025–2026 academic session, according to a press release.
The test will be conducted at Dhaka University and at public universities in seven divisional cities outside the capital.
The centres outside Dhaka are Rajshahi University, Chattogram University, Barishal University, Khulna University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh and Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur.
Special arrangements have been made for candidates who are appearing in the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) admission test on the same day and have shifted their Dhaka University Science Unit test centres to Dhaka.
To facilitate their participation, three additional examination centres have been set up in the Mirpur and Farmgate areas. Metro rail services will also operate at shorter intervals, with additional trains running to ensure safe and convenient travel for the students.
At the request of Dhaka University authorities, the MIST authorities have deferred only the second-phase examination of the Architecture Department, originally scheduled for 27 December from 3pm to 5pm, to the following day, 28 December, at the same time.
