The grand finale of the Hult Prize On-Campus for the 2025–26 session was held at Gazipur Agricultural University on Tuesday, marking the sixth consecutive edition of the global social entrepreneurship competition at the university.
The finale took place on January 13 at the Begum Sufia Kamal Auditorium under the supervision of the university’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell. The competition aims to encourage youth-led innovation and promote entrepreneurial solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Vice-Chancellor of Gazipur Agricultural University Professor GKM Mustafizur Rahman attended the programme as the chief guest. Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor M Moynul Haque, Treasurer Professor Md Safiul Islam Afrad, Proctor Professor Md Saiful Alam, and Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell Professor Nasrin Akter Ivy were also present.
Representing the Hult Prize National Team, Rudranil Mondal joined the event.
Six finalist teams—Avenlo, Carbodit, Ecofins, ResqHarvest, Cornova, and Celluthea—presented their business ideas in the final pitching round. The session was sponsored by Fresh Anonna.
Following evaluation by the judges, Team ResqHarvest emerged as the champion, while Team Avenlo and Team Carbodit secured the first and second runner-up positions respectively. The vice-chancellor handed over awards to the winning teams.
In his address, Professor GKM Mustafizur Rahman said the Hult Prize platform reflects students’ innovation, leadership and sense of social responsibility. He expressed hope that future changemakers would emerge from the initiative and wished the champion team success at the national and international levels.
The programme was led by Hult Prize at Gazipur Agricultural University Director Srizon Pandit Dibya, Deputy Director Aminul Islam Sifat, along with members of the organising committee.
