
Universal College Bangladesh (UCBD) has signed a memorandum of understanding with RoseTech Solutions Limited to provide students with industry exposure, internships and stronger career opportunities, as the institution sharpens its focus on employability.
The college said in a press release that the partnership with the global artificial intelligence solutions provider will open access to internships, job placements, professional training, industry knowledge-sharing sessions and hands-on experience on real-world AI projects for global companies.
The agreement was signed at the UCBD campus in Gulshan on 19 January by UCBD Chief Operating Officer Kingshuk Gupta and RoseTech Managing Director (MD) Md Imran Hossain on behalf of their respective organisations.
RoseTech Director Sharif Hossain and Chairman Nafis Mostafa were also present at the signing ceremony.
Under the collaboration, UCBD students will work with experienced professionals to gain practical exposure to enterprise-level AI projects, helping them better understand industry expectations and prepare for careers in the information technology sector.
“At UCBD, the focus is on bridging academic learning with industry expectations,” said UCBD Chief Operating Officer Kingshuk Gupta, adding that the partnership reinforces the college’s commitment to equipping students with skills and exposure needed in a competitive job market.
RoseTech MD Md Imran Hossain said the company is pleased to collaborate with UCBD, noting that the initiative will allow students to gain hands-on experience with enterprise-standard AI products and develop practical skills essential for professional growth.
