
International Standard University (ISU) held a webinar, styled “Teaching, Research, and Time: Turning Overwhelm into Opportunity”, on Tuesday, focusing on managing academic pressure and improving productivity, the university said.
The session began at 8:30pm Bangladesh time and brought together faculty members, deans and academic officials from different departments.
Professor Ahmed Mustafa, professor of Biological Sciences at Purdue University and director of the Life Sciences Resource Center in the United States, delivered the keynote presentation.
He outlined practical strategies for balancing teaching and research, prioritising tasks and converting professional challenges into opportunities for growth and productivity.
Among those present were ISU Treasurer Prof HTM Quader Newaz, Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dean Prof Mohammad Abul Kasem, IQAC Director Prof Md Ekramul Hoque, Prof Mohammad Masudur Rahman and Registrar Md Faizullah Kawshik.
The session ended with a question-and-answer segment where participants engaged with the speaker.
The university said similar initiatives would continue to enhance higher education standards and strengthen faculty capacity.
