The results of the Junior Scholarship Examination will be released this afternoon. The results are scheduled to be handed over to the Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon, at 1pm on Wednesday.
Following the handover, the official results will be announced at the Ministry of Education’s conference room.
According to official sources, a total of 45,200 students will be awarded scholarships this year. These awards are categorized into ‘talentpool’ and ‘general’ scholarships, with quotas determined based on a proportional rate across different boards.
Specific quotas have also been maintained for talentpool and general scholarships at the upazila level, following the established scholarship policy.
How to access results Students can check their performance through two primary methods –
1. Online: Results will be available on the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) website (dpe.gov.bd). To access them, students must navigate to the ‘Scholarship Result’ option and provide their roll number and the year 2026.
2. SMS: Candidates can also receive their results via mobile phone by typing the board name, roll number, and year in a message and sending it to 16222.
The Junior Scholarship Examination was held simultaneously across the country on 28 December last year. Around 3.5 lakh students participated in the examinations, which were conducted at 611 centres nationwide.
