Milestone College has achieved outstanding success in the 2025 Junior Scholarship Examination, with a total of 152 students securing scholarships in both Bangla medium and English version.
Among them, 47 students received merit scholarships, while 105 students were awarded general scholarships, reads a press release.
According to official information, of the 49 merit scholarships allocated under the concerned thana of the Dhaka Education Board, 47 were secured by students of Milestone College. In addition, the institution set a unique record by obtaining all 105 general scholarships available in the area.
Commenting on the achievement, Milestone College Principal Mohammad Ziaul Alam said, “Regular teaching, intensive supervision, sincere efforts of teachers and overall cooperation of parents have played an important role in this amazing achievement.”
Chairman of the College Governing Body Mamtaz Begum, Advisor of the institution Colonel Nurun Nabi (retd.), and Executive Principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School Rifat Nabi Alam also congratulated the meritorious students who achieved junior scholarships.
It is noteworthy that the Junior Scholarship Examination was held in December 2025 after a long gap of 17 years, and the results were published on 25 February, 2026.
A total of 46,200 students received scholarships under nine education boards, including both merit and general categories.
Under the Dhaka Education Board, 3,622 students received merit scholarships, while 7,762 students were awarded general scholarships.
