Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecast rain in different parts of the country during the next 24 hours commencing from 9am.
According to a Met Office bulletin issued this morning said “Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.”
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country.
The highest temperature recorded on Friday was 35.5 degrees Celsius at Nikli in Kishoreganj, while today’s lowest temperature was recorded at 23.9 degrees Celsius at Kumarkhali in Kushtia.
In the last 24 hours till 6am today, the highest rainfall of 59 millimetres was recorded at Cox’s Bazar.
The sun will set at 6:42pm today and rise at 5:28am tomorrow in Dhaka.
