
The 19th Syndicate meeting of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB) was held at the Dhaka campus on Monday.
The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor, Air Vice Marshal M Mustafizur Rahman.
In his opening remarks, the Vice Chancellor extended his gratitude to all present and highlighted the importance of AAUB in today’s rapidly changing world.
He emphasised that Bangladesh’s strategic geographical location, growing civil aviation sector, expanding defence capabilities, and potential in space research make AAUB vital for the nation’s advancement.
The Vice Chancellor stressed that AAUB aims to become a centre of excellence in aviation and aerospace through integrated planning, quality education, and effective governance.
He noted that every Syndicate meeting plays a key role in shaping the university’s development and ensuring progress.
He called for unity among all members to overcome challenges and create a positive learning environment.
In light of global challenges, the Vice Chancellor urged everyone to align their work with national interests and expressed confidence that these challenges can be overcome through collective effort.
The meeting was attended by members from various organisations, including the Armed Forces Division, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Law, Bangladesh Air Force, University of Dhaka, BUET, Bangladesh Biman, and the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh.
