
Great Wall Hi-Tech Industries Ltd has officially launched its highly anticipated battery series, marking a significant expansion into the energy storage sector. The company, known for its success in the ceramics industry, unveiled the new line of advanced technology batteries at a grand ceremony held in Gazipur on Saturday.
The launch event, attended by senior officials and top dealers from across the country, signals the company’s ambition to establish a dominant presence in the nation’s rapidly evolving energy market, said in a press release.
Developed to international standards and specially optimised for Bangladesh’s local climate, the new batteries are expected to set a new benchmark in the country’s energy sector. The range includes high-performance batteries for electric vehicles (EV), Mishuk, Inverter Power Supply (IPS), personal computers (PC), and commercial vehicles (CV).
The batteries are being manufactured under the direct supervision of a team comprising skilled Chinese engineers and Bangladeshi technicians. During the event, dealers expressed their satisfaction after visiting the company’s factory and observing the seamless collaboration between international and local experts in the production process.
Asif Iqbal Mahmud, Managing Director of Great Wall Hi-Tech, Mohammad Khaleduzzaman, Deputy Managing Director, and Md Rafiqul Islam, Project Director, were among the senior officials who attended the ceremony. Md Sanowar Hossain, Head of Sales and Marketing, also participated, along with other key company figures.
“The collaboration between our skilled teams has enabled us to produce batteries of superior quality, optimised for both performance and local needs,” Mahmud said during the event. The company now aims to position itself as a leader in the country’s energy storage solutions.
