Bangladesh Gausia Committee, Narayanganj District and City units, organized a colorful rally to welcome the holy month of Rabiul Awal and celebrate Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH).
The rally started on Friday (August 14) after Asr prayers from Kaderia Taiyyabia Taheria Madrasa in the city’s DIT area. It passed through Chashara, paraded along the main streets, and returned to the madrasa premises for a short gathering. The event concluded with a Milad, Qiyam, and special prayers (Monajat) for the peace and prosperity of the nation and the Muslim Ummah, followed by the distribution of Tabarruk.
Participants at the front carried the national flag, the banner of Anjuman-A Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia, and signs bearing “Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH).” Hundreds of attendees were also seen carrying flags featuring a crescent moon and four stars.
The rally was led by Mokhlesur Rahman Chowdhury, former councilor and President of Gausia Committee Narayanganj City; Nizamuddin Pradhan, Vice President of the District unit; Hafez Refajuddin, District General Secretary; and Muhammad Mobarak Hossain, City General Secretary.
Prominent attendees included Mufti Ali Akbar, Convenor of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat Narayanganj District; former District Organizational Secretary Muhammad Abu Sayeed Kaderi; Imtiaz Alam Sehbur; current Organizational Secretary Mir Joynal Abedin; City Joint Secretary Omar Farooq; Dawatul Khair Secretary Maulana Abu Naser Muhammad Musa; freedom fighter Abdus Salam Khan, along with other Islamic scholars, committee leaders, and hundreds of local devotees.
